Aiyu Cha Information

If you're in Westminster and craving something sweet and refreshing, Aiyu Cha is definitely worth a visit. Nestled on Beach Boulevard, this cozy little spot offers a menu that’s all about fresh, vibrant flavors, with a focus on Taiwanese-style desserts and drinks. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, sip on something unique, and escape from the hustle of everyday life.

The highlight here has to be their namesake drink - the Aiyu Cha. It’s a Taiwanese tea that's served with a special jelly made from the seeds of the aiyu fruit. The jelly has a pleasantly soft, almost slippery texture that pairs perfectly with the light, slightly tangy sweetness of the tea. It’s one of those drinks that’s not only refreshing but also an experience in itself. If you're new to the drink, it’s a must-try, and even if you’re not, it’s still a fun twist on your usual tea options.

But the drink menu doesn’t stop there. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more indulgent, their bubble teas and other fruit-based drinks are fantastic as well. You can pick from a range of flavors, and the quality of the ingredients shines through. The matcha latte is smooth and rich, a great option if you love a creamy, earthy kick. Plus, they have a selection of snacks that are perfect for munching while you sip. The variety is solid, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with a simple yet cozy interior that makes it a great place for both a quick stop or a more leisurely hangout with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. There’s something comforting about the way they treat their customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

While it’s easy to be drawn in by the drinks, don’t overlook the desserts here. The Taiwanese-style ices, with their vibrant toppings, are a sweet treat to end your visit on. Each bite is light, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off on a warm day. Their portion sizes are generous too, so you won’t leave hungry.

What People's Say About Place

Prompt service, made quick, nice store decorations for Halloween (oddly, sign is already on Christmas). As for the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba, boba was soft like it ought to be. Regular sugar level wasn't high enough (vs Taiwan boba shops), not enough ice to make it cold enough on a hot 80s day, and tasted a touch watered down/dull. Probably good for some who prefer a warmer boba drink that isn't as sweet, but for me, not an amazing boba drink - didn't finish it.

I love this place! I would come here every day if I could. I always get The crème brûlée Thai tea and it’s absolutely a treat! My husband gets a Honolulu sparkling drink, and it’s so good! The gummy bears are an added treat!

I’ve been coming to Aiyu Cha since the end of 2020 and they never cease to amaze me on their amazing service and bold flavors! I found this location back when I was working at the Bella Terra with a couple coworkers and we quickly fell in love, they were extremely quick, friendly and offer a good assortment of milk teas and regular teas. I recently returned with a friend, they got the Taiwanese milk tea with boba(oolong milk tea) and I got my usual tiramisu milk tea with boba. The girls up front on 3/17 at 6pm were amazing, super friendly and they gave my friends lots of recommendations. I recommend them!

Our first time here and we were impressed. Interior is neatly decorated and they do have indoor seating available with WiFi. Drinks did not take too long to come out as well as the mini pancakes. I’d have to say their drinks taste better than a lot of their competitors. The Coconut Milk with Taro was my favorite drink. You can tell the difference with their taro versus other milk tea places. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Tried the Crème Brûlée Thai Tea at Aiyu Cha this time and it was so smooth and delicious! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their top 10 drinks listed on the screen. You can fully customize the sweetness and ice level, and they offer lots of topping options ranging from $1.10 to $2. Fun fact I learned from its website that the oolong and tieguanyin teas are sourced from Taiwan, and the purple yam comes from Hawaii. Aiyu Cha 16472 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683

I stumbled upon Aiyu Cha for some pick me up on a Saturday afternoon. The ambiance felt chill with some nostalgic items on display. I ordered a Strawberry Yakult Tea with Aiyu Jelly. (Of course I wanted to try their aiyu jelly as they're living up to their name). My order was ready within 5 minutes. I really like the natural Strawberry flavor, paired with a slice of strawberry and the chunks of chewy aiyu jelly. Adding $1.10 for toppings seemed a bit pricey compared to other boba shops. The taste was almost identical to Ding Tea and Yifang (which is a compliment) because it the flavors were natural and authentic. Next time, I will opt to try their milk teas, Twilight Taro milk and slushies with soy milk. Thankfully, they offer dairy alternatives such as soy and oat milk (for $1 more). I'll for sure be back again at Aiyu Cha on my next visits in the OC.

Honestly really really good drink options and their boba is excellent. I ordered the twilight taro milk which was great; plus a lava boba milk which was so good we couldn’t stop drinking it until it was gone. Highly recommended for either of those beverages.

This boba place is on the edge of HB and Westminster and has some delicious boba. There no fancy looks nice but taste horrible milk tea here. If you order no sugar (yes no sugar), you get the full taste of the tea and toppings without having a full blast of sugar in your mouth. Even though there was only one person serving in the morning, the wait was no longer than 5 minutes for two boba teas.its worth coming if you are in the area to grab a tea.
